Here is Micah with the orcchestra group of the Texas Lutheran University Youth Orchestra.
I love it when he pluks the bass. He doesn't like it too much since having being diagnosed with JRA, he has to work even harder, but it is worth it at the end. He does such a great job playing. He is only able to play with the orchestra in the spring time, since band pretty much takes over his life in the fall.

Here is Micah and Jonah with the Bremer family that came to see him play. Next to Micah is aunt Kathleen, uncle Ricky, then in the from is Jonah, Jordan, Christian and Claire. After the concert we went out to eat at Pluckers. Had a great time, great food, and great company too.
With my Dad being in New Orleans, we decided that we needed to spend some time with him. Our prayers were answered when they closed the schools until May 11th because of the swine flu. Here is grandpa at the Sheraton Hotel in Metairie, LA.
Here are Micah, Jonah and Edith. Edith has been working for my parents for 13 years. She is now their caregiver. She is almost part of the family and is very caring and is a sweet young lady. She speaks very little english, and as you know Micah and Jonah really don't speak spanish. But they were able to comunicate somehow (she understands a lot of english - my Dad speaks to her a lot in english -, and with Micah's little spanish that he is learning in school, they did just fine).
